If you haven’t been in recently, watch the video to get an updated look at the shop and listen to me yap about all the great things in our comic making, reading and collecting community. I especially enjoyed chatting about what makes comics special and bringing the world to our little corner of Savannah.
I feel that comics have a really interesting niche in between reading traditional prose books and watching a movie or TV show. Comics inform what the characters look like, what the scene looks like, but you still use your imagination to fill in what happens between those panels.
Comic books are for everyone. So whether or not you're a lifelong reader or you're coming this first time ever, there are going to be stories that are designed for you that are for the things that you like, whether it's romance or if it's true crime or if it's superheroes or if it's coming of age middle grade stories and everything in between, there's a story that you can connect with and it just happens to have cool pictures inside.
