My Eisner Ballot for 2025

The whos, whats and whys behind my votes for best comic books of the year.

My friend Trent is a pro baseball writer and casts ballots for the Baseball Hall of Fame every year. Obviously a huge honor and one he takes very seriously. He also makes his votes public, which I always thought was pretty classy. Every year, folks bicker over his picks and try to convince him he was wrong. While I don’t necessarily want those interactions, I thought it would be fun to break down my ballot and talk through why I picked these books and creators.
